Unexpected changes to plans left me entirely alone with myself yesterday. A cancellation and a postponement left me with a day of no requirements, no appointments, no nothing. Exploring Turkey: Antalya

A month ago we had a week off for Fall Break and I used it to begin to explore this new land in which I live. I traveled south to Antalya in hopes of swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, as well as to visit sites of historic and natural beauty. I accomplished all of that, and more! First thoughts on Turkey

Many people have asked how I ended up with a position in Turkey. Back in February when my contract negotiations with ASU failed I began applying for positions abroad–some in Asia (Korea, China), some in Europe (Bulgaria, Estonia, Albania, Czech Republic), and a couple in the UAE.
